What airport should I fly into?

You should fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN.)  Transportation to and from the airport will be provided.

How will the shared rooms work?

If you choose a shared room, you will have (a) roommate(s.)  If you are booking with someone you would like to share a room with, you can send that preference via email to alisha@evolvecounselingcenters.com, and you will be paired with your person.  You can also book a shared accommodation and be paired with a bestie you haven’t even met yet.  

Can I come alone? Will I fit in?

Yes! Many people attend retreats solo, it’s a great space to meet other awesome human beings, and grow your support network. This retreat is designed to build community and connection or have some solo reflection time, so you’ll have many opportunities to meet others in a supportive environment.

What if I can’t do yoga?

If you can breathe, you can do yoga!  All yoga/movement workshops will focus on mindfulness and be available at all levels of practice.

What is included?

Roundtrip transportation to and from the airport, accommodations, ALL meals, group workshops, excursions, transportation to group activities, house snacks, tips for activities/excursions, lots of fun!

What is NOT included?

Airfare, any activities outside of the group, souvenirs, personal meals (offsite,) treats, or alcoholic beverages.

How will I know what to pack?  Any recommended attire?

An itinerary and recommended packing list will be sent out approximately 1-2 month(s) before we take off.  Recommended attire is whatever makes you feel your best, most comfortable self!  We will have a mix of yoga and movement, water-based activities, and cute, casual meals together, as well as any activities you may want to do in your free time.  A few recommended items are: water shoes, beach wear, yoga/movement attire, your version of dinner/cocktail attire.


What if I don’t want to participate in everything, or do something different?

An itinerary will be sent out approximately 1-2 month(s) before we take off.  EVERYTHING on the itinerary is optional.  You are welcome to participate at a level that is most comfortable for you.  We will also connect you to trusted guides, or give recommendations for additional activities if there is something you would like to do that the group is not.


I have dietary restrictions/preferences , will they be accommodated?

Yes!  Amansala has so many nourishing options for every diet.  Please email alisha@evolvecounselingcenters.com after booking to let us know what those needs are so we can be sure to have ample options ahead of time. Additionally, we sent out a survey to understand everyone’s individual needs and curate the best experience possible.


What if I need to cancel?

In most cases, the booking is non-refundable.  We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise, and we will work with you to offer a partial refund when/if possible. 


What if I get sick or hurt?

There are lots of pharmacies to get over the counter medication, access to medical clinics, and hospitals.  We will collect emergency contact information.


Is WIFI available?

Yes, WIFI is available, and the internet works pretty well throughout Tulum.


Do I need a passport or visa? Or Traveler’s insurance?

A valid passport is required to enter Mexico. U.S. citizens do not need a visa for stays under 90 days.  We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected events such as flight delays, cancellations, or personal emergencies.

Can I extend my stay before or after the retreat?

Absolutely! If you’d like help planning extra days in Tulum, or around Mexico, feel free to reach out to alisha@evolvecounselingcenters.com and we can suggest places to stay or things to do.

How do payments work? Is there a deposit or payment plan?

After sending a booking request with all of the pertinent information, you will be sent a link to complete your payment. Payment options, paying in full with the link provided, applying for a payment plan through Affirm or Klarna at the link provided, or an interest-free monthly payment plan directly with Evolve Counseling Centers.
