Luke Muzyka, LSW

Licensed Social Worker | Therapist for Adults

Many dynamics may affect your health and sense of well being. Interpersonal relations and social forces create regular stress that challenges daily life. Witnessing resilience in people who manage these challenges makes me passionate about the process. I have worked with people experiencing acute crises, PTSD, depression, anxiety, addiction, identity issues and personal health issues. My approach is rooted in compassion and I provide a genuine space to feel safe and be heard. Therapy is for everyone and I see this work as a collaboration.

I became a social worker after working in EMS and responding to medical emergencies in Chicago. I am also experienced with mental health crisis response teams and with organizations addressing community violence. I have seen the correlation between health and well being and I use strengths-based approaches that explore resilience and build towards goals.

I will state again, that everyone deserves to be supported through therapy. Your desire to thrive and live a contented life is valid and real. Please be encouraged to find your improved health and sense of well-being, wherever that may be. It's my privilege to be involved with individuals on their journey to personal wellness.
